Scale up HACCP and FDA training and certification for agri-food businesses. The project had been supporting companies individually providing for much of the training costs.
We estimated that around 100 Food Safety Consultants operate in this market. If we could onboard 50 of them and they could reach out 30 prospects with a new ‘food safety factory entryproduct’ we could help them generate an overall 1,500 leads.
With a conservative conversion rate of 20% consultants could get 300 companies signing up to this new service that would then lead to the actual training and advisory by the Consultants in the factories. If the uptake was 20% that would generate food safety certification program for 60 companies.
FDA or HACCP certification would open up new markets. If we assumed new markets would require additional purchase from 50 farmers in average this intervention generates additional income for 3,000 farmers.
