The green jobs opportunities mapping, and engagement exercise aimed to provide the IRC’s Economic Recovery & Development (ERD) Technical Unit teams a list of green job opportunities and recommended entry points for employment or self-employment, in line with ERD’s rural and urban livelihoods areas, as well as guidance on how to effectively pursue those opportunities including key local, national, and regional private sector partners to collaborate with on those opportunities. The green jobs mapping and engagement exercise is used to support ERD to advance private sector partnerships for green job opportunities for displaced populations, youth and women that are also conflict and gender.
